Rudra is widely used for the control of bollworms, including pink bollworm and American bollworm. It effectively manages pod borers, fruit borers, and shoot borers in cotton, tomato, chili, okra, soybean, tobacco, cabbage, brinjal, tea, red gram, chickpeas, grapes, groundnut, and soybeans. It is particularly effective against caterpillars and larvae in these crops.
